[DCC Error] E2597 library not found for -lc++ld: library not found for -lc+

Using XE7 Update 1.
iOSDevice - iPhoneOS 8.0
Trying to Run and Debug on iPhone Target.
Build works and compile runs then I get a Linking error.

This worked fine yesterday. iOS Simulator and Android work fine.

Thanks,

I figured this out. The iOS Device SDK setting was pointing to iPhoneSimulator8.0 instead of iPhoneOS8.0.sdk. I'm not sure how this got changed but it's fixed now.

Hi Perry,
I'm having the same error.
What do you mean when you say "The iOS Device SDK setting was pointing to iPhoneSimulator8.0 instead of iPhoneOS8.0.sdk."

I can't figure out where to look to the setting to correct this.
Thanks!
Bryan

My test app, that worked properly with Delphi XE7, now displays the following error message when I attempt to 'Build' it under 'iOS Device - 64 bit:' "[DCC Error] E2597 ld: file not found: libsqlite.a." I searched my HDD. 'libsqlite.a' is present in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\16.0\lib\iosDevice32\debug' and 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Embarcadero\Studio\16.0\lib\iosDevice32\release.' Library not found errors with DBD-Oracle-1.20
Hi, I have successfully installed the Oracle instant client, DBI-1.602 and DBD-Oracle 1.20 and can connect to a database on a remote host, but only if I set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to the directory where the instant client is installed. This is fine, but I need to do this from a CGI script, and setting the environment there does not work. I know that there is a way to do this in Apache using a SetEnv statement, but I would prefer not to do that. The problem is, the library should be found. The message that is being logged is this: install_driver(Oracle) failed: Can't load &#...

application configuration is incorrect error
Hi, I have a 2.0 ASP app that calls managed & unmanaged c++ code.   I can get it all to run if I deploy the VC++ merge modules on the host machine.  However, I work at a large company & the server admins, in their infinite wisdom, don't want to install these Microsoft merge modules on the shared server.   They tell me I need to install all the libraries locally in my applications directory. I know this is possible with .Net executables but I am not having any success doing this on a web application.   Is this even possible?   I think...

35969 ld: warning: file libmozjs.so: required by ../../toolkit/library/libxul.so, not found
after building libxul.so, there are issues building plugin-container and xpcshell where libmozjs.so (needed by libxul.so) isn't provided. One of the easier workarounds seems to be adding >SHARED_LIBS += $(DEPTH)/js/src/libmozjs.so after >SHARED_LIBS += $(DEPTH)/toolkit/library/libxul.so in the respective backend.mk since backend.mk is a generated file, what would be the "right" way to add libmozjs.so? macports linker with XCode 7: aka ld: library not found for -lgcc_s.10.4
One of the learnings of https://trac.macports.org/ticket/49273 If you are using gcc or clang from MacPorts, notice that whenever Apple releases new XCode command line tools, the MacPorts will inevitably lag until Apple opensources their changes. This may lead into for example link time failures, for example ld: library not found for -lgcc_s.10.4 is what happened with XCode 7 command line tools: Apple introduced a new linker format called "tbd" (not making this up) which the macports side doesn't yet know what to do with. During this window of brokenness (if y...

This server uses Server 2003 Standard Edition SP1 with iiS 6.0.
