if the file must be seen by your user, so it must be in the public area of your website. For IW XII/XIV, the files must be within the Content Root folder (wwwroot by default). In other words, NewWindow needs a VALID URL.

You can also use WebApplication.SendFile. In this case, IW will create a copy of the file in the cache and send the file to the user (however this is a much more "expensive" method, as there is the file copy operation)

Check the docs for both methods: http://docs.atozed.com/docs.dll/classes/TIWApplication.html

Jackson
use IW 02/12/15 - >> creating a project structure creates the IW example: C: \ Application \ Win32 \ debug folder where debug is the dcu files for publication.

In the case of my application Standalone address is:
C: \ WebFacil \ Win32 \ Debug I created a folder Files to PDF Files getting as follows
C: \ WebFacil \ Win32 \ Debug \ Files

In my application creates a PDF file with the code below, it works normal:
And then display the behest aquivo more with the code below opens just a blank page in vavegador.

//creates the PDF file
Usersession.frPDFX.FileName := 'Veiculos'+'.pdf';
Usersession.frPDFX.DefaultPath :='C:\WebFacil\Win32\Debug\Files' +'\';
Usersession.frPDFX.ShowDialog := False;
Usersession.frPDFX.ShowProgress := False;
Usersession.frPDFX.OverwritePrompt := False;
Usersession.frxRpt.PrepareReport();
Usersession.frxRpt.Export(Usersession.frPDFX);

//Open the PDF in browser
WebApplication.NewWindow('C:\WebFacil\Win32\Debug\Files\Veiculos.pdf');

I do not know what is going wrong.

As jackson said , you use a URL not absolute file path

Eg
create PDF file in webapplication.usercachedir but
Webapplication.newwindow(webapplication.usercacheurl+cFile);

So if you are using IW10/earlier you create your pdf in
myapplication\files dir
or iw11 & after in myapplication\wwwroot

then
Webapplication.newwindow(cFile);  will work.

best to use usercachedir & usercacheurl though if you are creating on
the fly

This is exactly what I told you... a relative URL, not an absolute path....
