Delphi install issue "Cannot create drectory f:\temp\mia3793.tmp\setup.exe" [Edit]

I had Delphi 7, Delphi XE2 and Delphi XE3 all installed in my machine. All fine and working fine, all licensed. My folders were not well organized (a mess) so I decided to uninstall XE3 and XE2 and start from scratch.

Same as I did always, I mounted the XE3 ISO thru Virtual Clonedrive and first thing I notice is that the path suggested for demos was:

F:\temp\mia3793.tmp\Setup.exe\RAD Studio\9.0\Samples\

I went ahead and modified it to something more sensible. Then after a while I get the error "Cannot create the directory f:\temp\mia3793.tmp\Setup.exe. A file with this name already exists - etc".

Deleted temp, registry all. Tried XE2 iso.. Similar thing; It seems to stop at creating the \Rad Studio\9.0\Styles (it wants to create under the "setup.exe" directory (!)).

Any ideas? Seems like something bad with registry leftovers or just an issue with the ISO mounting, can't figure it out, guess I'll try moving the ISO content to a folder to see if something changes.

Now it's too late for mine! <vbg> Did a full install (took .. a long time) and well now I didn't get the strange "f:\temp" error.. But changing the default folders for XE3 was driving me crazy. Seemed to cause trouble..
I ended up only changing the main delphi folder to e:\dev\delphi\xe3 and had trouble with the $platform variable.. it's not translated? .. Set it up manually .. Now I'm compiling a basic program without problems.. but I'm getting errors like not being able to
invoke/change sysutils.timeseparator public variable..

UPDATE: And this, when trying to browing sysutils, I get this dumb error:
http://qc.embarcadero.com/wc/qcmain.aspx?d=108490

What a bad beginning with XE3.. I'll need to test it in a Virtual machine, should have done that from the start. Better go to sleep!

EDIT: Now it's System.SysUtils.FormatSettings.TimeSeparator .. so the browsing is the only issue (bad anyway..)
