you almost have it but.....

it's <br /> not </br>

And you need to quote it...

VB.Net:
textbox3.text = textbox2.text & "<br />" & textbox2.text

C#:
textbox3.text = textbox2.text + "<br />" + textbox2.text;

Oh wait...

Textbox doesn't use HTML... and therefore you cant use <br /> in it...

You need the VbCrLF instead, or the Char() equivalent

1) make sure that Textbox3 has it's TextMode set to Multiline.

2) Textbox3.Text = Textbox1.Text & VbCrLf & Textbox2.Text (this is the VB.Net code)

Text Interpretation HTML tags not being interpreted

However when I see the report, the HTML tags are not seen. However the text is not formatted as per HTML tags. e.g. <b>Bold Text</b> does not show up as bold text but as simple Bold Text. I am using Visual Studio 2005 and I believe the Crystal reports version based on info in web.config is <add assembly="CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine, Version=10.2.3600.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=6...

Window Text <> Window Text
hi all, PB 10.5: The text color 'Window Text' of DWO groupboxes is not the same as the text color 'Window Text' on a window. DWO groupbox text is blue, the window groupbox text is black (as it should be*). I can reproduce this just with groupboxes on DWO. Is this a known 'feature'? BTW: I have Win XP, SP2 (with WinXP Style). TIA, gzim *=The text color for 'Window Text' is black on my os-display-properties. This is by design and a function of the XP style. Similary, you'll see dropdown shadow SLEs have a blue border. There is ...
