Summary: "Move tab to new window" is wanted; "Open in new window" is faulty.
Comments:
Right now, tabs in FF 3.5.2 have "Open in new window".
What they need is "Move tab to new window".
The problem? The page is fully reloaded from scratch. Not all pages can
be reloaded. Even if it doesn't look like a PUT, not all GETs return the
same page. Even when they do, it may result in a lot of re-processing of
javascript, etc.

Difference between "Creating new website" and "Creating new web project"
Hello
(Using VS2008)
I would like to know the difference between "Creating a New Website" and "Creating a New Web project".
Thanks a lot.
Hi,
the first one creates a web site using the web site project model (default in VS2005) which is based on that you don't have a standalone project file, but project contents are defined by physical directory structure. Basically a web site project has also slightly different compilation model, for example not everything in the project is necessarily built into single assembly, and you don't necessarily ha...

Heyho! In firefox 2, opening new pages in a new tab instead of a new
window is the standard setting.
But ifyou right-click on a random link to open it either in a new window
or a new tab, the option on top of the right-click-menu is "open in new
window" you have to scroll down to open the link in a new tab.
To support tabbed browsing as well as possible, the option to open links

"Visual Studio .NET cannot create or open the application. Web site 'http://localhost/2373/Labs/Lab071' not started on this Web server. "
i wanted to create a New Project, with Visual Basic Projects as Project Type, and ASP.NET Web Application as the selected Templates. However, there was an error message pop up saying these: "Visual Studio .NET cannot create or open the application. Web site 'http://localhost/2373/Labs/Lab071' not started on this Web server. " How may i overcome it?
Is 2373 already a directory in your web root? How about Labs? It might have something to do with subdirectories, have you tried creating one just off the route? Ala:
http://localhost/labs071 ? You might want to try to see if tha...

Hi Nuwand,
As far as I know, it is not possible to achieve this for the reason the title 'Microsoft Internet Explorer' is set in the Internet Explorer itself and a web page has no permission to chang...
"Web Form" missing from Add New Item dialog window
Yet another bug with VS2005...
Using File->New->File or right click on a project and select "Add New Item" brings up a dialog box that "Web Form" is missing from. I cannot add new web forms to any web projects this way, I have to copy and paste other ASPX pages to add new files. It happens when logged in as any user on my machine. I tried mucking around with the template files but they all look right.
I rant into the same thing some time ago, maybe this is an obscure bug, or maybe not. See this: http://forums.asp.net/1172691/ShowPost.aspxgabriel magaña

Summary: "New window" should make a copy of the "old window", keeping the "history".

I like Firefox very much, mainly because it's faster than Internet
Explorer. There's really only one function I really miss. It is Internet
Explorers function when you open a new window (ctrl+n). In IE the whole
new window is an exact copy of the one you open it from - you get the
same page and keep the "history". So you can for example click back and
it takes you one page...
