Neither VS 2008 nor VWD 2008 provide mobile form templates since designer does not support mobile controls. You do can still use Source view.

Thanks

Hi.. I try to download and copied the files that have mentioned into the specified folder..

Still I am unable to view the mobile .net web form in the Add New Item.

Is it because I have Microsoft Visual studio 2008 trail version???

what is the solution if not??

Thanks in advance

No its not an issue with your vs 2008 trail version...

Copy the Zip folders inside each of the "ASP.NET Web Application" Folders into your system's Visual Studio Templates folder.  For instance, there is a folder for "ASP.NET Web Application CS".  You need to copy the contents of this file into

c:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual C#

Similarly you would copy the contents of the "VB" folder into the Visual Basic folder under "ItemTemplates" above.

Once you copy these and restart Visual Studio 2008, you would be able to get the "Mobile Web Form", "Mobile Web User Control" and "Mobile Web Configuration File" under "My Templates" in "Add New Item" Wizard.

(Quotes From)

once you download you will get a zip folder named"ASP.NET%20Mobile%20Templates", where  you unzip the folder, you will get another 4 folder

copy and paste  the ontents of ASP.NET Web Application CS,VB

 to c:\Documents and Settings\<username>\My Documents\Visual Studio 2008\Templates\ItemTemplates\Visual C# and Visual Basic

 then restart your visual studio...

Difference between mobile web applications and standard web applications + mobile web forms in them ?
I have a series of existing sites, but I need to make a PPC version of them (there already is one, but it uses standard web forms). Since the code-behind looks a lot in the PC and in the PPC version, I'd like both versions to use the same files for the code. I'm left with 2 options : - either create a new mobile web application for each existing web application, and put all the code behind in .dlls which I'll call from each page ; - or, if this is possible (and I'd rather do it), simply add mobile web forms to the existing web applications and redirect at login to the appropriate ve...

Visual Studion Express 2008 SP1, Visual Web Developer Express 2008 and Web Application Project Template
Hi All, I installed Visual Web Developer Express 2008 sp1 on my two machines, one running Vista & other running XP. On the XP machine, when I open VWD Express 2008 I get an option to use Web Application project template as a new project option but on my Vista machine I only get an option to use Web site model template option. My question is, is the sp1 incompatible with vista? Any help or explanation would be appreciated   Thanks SP1 is compatible with vista.  I would try devenv.exe /installvstemplates to see if you could force vwd to see the other project types otherwise ...

Converting a VS 2005 Web Application to a VS .NET 2003 Web Application
Well it seems that I am going against the stream here, but one of our clients wants the web application I wrote in Visual Studio 2005 to be deployed using Visual Studio .NET 2003. What's the best way to go about this without rewriting the whole dang thing? I would probably create a new 2003 project, copy all of your aspx and other files into it, attempt a build and see what happens.  If you didn't use a lot of the new controls (like membership, personalization, masterpages etc, then you will probably be ok with just minor changes.  If you did rely on a lot of the newer c...

Can you return .net web controls in a .net page from a web service?
I've got a problem with a project. I've got to compile an entire .net page and return it as part of a Web Service for display. Essentially I need to make a call from one site for a page, populate the page and return it in a state as though it resided on the same server/webspace as the calling page. Code is currently built as follows into a string: strOpenHT...
