Bug with Visual Studio NET 2003 & Office 2003 Beta??

I am running Visual Studio NET 2003 Archtitect now for months without any problems on my Windows XP, last week I have installed the Official Office 2003 Beta and since then I am not able anymore to debug any asp.net application; just receiving the well know error message that I should ensure that I am a member of the debuggers-usergroup, which I am ... Furthermore I have done everything mentioned in the KB-articles about this error ...

Must be a bug ... ???!!! ;-)

Another information on this topic:

If I am logging in as local system administrator the debugging in VS.NET 2003 works without any problems.
Now I remember that one of my colleages has the same problem, he has set up a computer completely clean with VS.NET 2003, made everything as mentioned in the KB articles about how to debug VS.NET 2003 but still can only go into debug modus as local administrator ...
Can it be that the Office 2003 Beta installation has reset something on the user-level/permission levels that debugging does not work anymore ...
Even the following steps did not resolve the issue:
1.) Locate the current installation of .NET (c:\Windows\Microsoft.net\Framework\{Version} in the command line
type: regsvr32 aspnet_isapi.dll
2.) wait for the confirmation
3.) type: aspnet_regiis -i
4.) wait ...
5.) type iisreset

Any ideas???
Thanks in advance

Visual Studio .NET vs Visual Studio .NET 2002 or 2003?
As an admin, I'm working to determing what systems I need to update with the update on MS08-017, particularly with respect to Visual Studio .NET 2002 and 2003. I've got quite a few systems that appear to have Visual Studio .NET, no 2002 or 2003 mentioned when I view what's there in Add/Remove Programs. Is there a definitive way to determine if I have a 2002 or 2003 version?   sandy_wood:Is there a definitive way to determine if I have a 2002 or 2003 version? In add/remove programs it would indicate it VS2003 as Visual Studio 2003. Can I install Visual Basic 6 on my machine which has VS.NET 2003 & VS.NET 2005?
I may have a need to use Visual Basic 6 for a legacy project in the near future.  I was wondering if I can install VB6 on my machine which already has VS.NET 2003 & VS.NET 2005 installed on it? I did not know if doing so would cause issues or not so thought I would ask before just leaping and doing.   Ira Richard Smith At one time i had to install Visual Basic 6 on my machine with VS.NET 2003 and had "NO" issues. I would suggest take a backup of your machine or a restore point before you proceed. Please post your experience. I am sure some one would appreci...

Can I go from VS .NET 2003 to Visual Basic .NET 2003?
Hi, I just developed a commercial application using the trial version of Visual Studio .NET 2003.  My trial is about to expire.  I was hoping .NET 2.0 would be released by now, but that is obviously months away so I'm wondering if I could save a few hundred bucks by buying Visual Basic .NET 2003(around $110 i think) instead of having to buy Visual Studio .NET 2003, which I believe is up around $600 or so.   All my code is Visual Basic, so that's why I'm thinking that's all I need.  And it's mostly web development that I do if that matters.  T...

Using Frontpage 2003 with Visual Studio .Net 2003
How do I use Frontpage 2003 with Visual Studio .Net 2003 for a web site I'm developing? I would like to create a disk based web in Frontpage 2003. Do I create the ASP.NET web application first in Visual Studio .NET? Or create the disk based web first in Frontpage 2003? Once the disk based web exists, does adding a new web application in Visual Studio .NET overwrite the existing disk based web? Or am I supposed to create an aspx file in Frontpage then have Visual Studio open it for editing? When I'm ready to publish the site to a real web server, which software do I use to publi...

Visual Studio .net 2003 Webservice and WSS 2003
I have a webservice that was devloped on one machine using the Default web site.I then installed Sharepoint Services 2.0 sp1 and set up the website a everything worked fine. Now my Webservice cant compile. Can anyone explain what i may have done wrong or need to do to fix this problem? Thanks. WSS installs an ISAPI handler (or filter, I get them confused) the takes over all requests.  In the SharePoint Central admin, you should "exclude" the path to the web service so that WSS leaves it alone and lets the ASP.Net runtime process the request. The steps to do this are at the top of K...
