Issues with Intellisense

 Hi,

I've been using Visual Studio 2008 on one machine for about 6 months now, and everything appears to be working fine. I've recently setup VS 2008 on a second machine, and installed it in exactly the same way as I did before. However, the intellisense doesn't seem to be working right. It mainly works OK, however when I start typing in a server control in the code file, it doesn't recognise it exists in the related content page. Also, on the code file I can usually select from a list of controls such as:

  •  General
  • MainClass
  • (Page Events)
  • MyLiteral
  • MyTextBox
  • etc..

However I don't get the literal controls and textbox controls on this. It appears its mainly an issue with detecting existing controls on content pages, when in the code file. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this to work?

Thanks,

Curt

The intellisense works. It just doesn't display things like drop down lists, textbox's etc...

I've just discovered what this issue was with this and its because the AJAX Extension had not been installed. Its now all working fine.
