The asp tables and stored prcedures are added using the 'aspnet_regsql.exe'

Run that and you should be all set.

1) in VWD create a new Web Site and point it directly to your IIS local web server call it TimeTracker e.g. http://localhost/TimeTracker (since I have problem getting VWD web server to work using the Beta release) this step will create a web site on your local IIS, you can do this manually too.
2) Unzip the file downloaded into the C:\Inetpub\wwwroot\TimeTracker and overwrite any files there.
3) Launch the site in IE e.g. http://localhost/TimeTracker/Default.aspx

Check in web.config for connectionString, configure it according to your server name, password etc.

In Time Tracking System, it uses inbuild Membership classes for user creation, updation etc..

You have to register your DB with ASP.NET Membership classes by executing the command line utility in VS prompt

aspnet_regsql, it will open one window, where you  have to configure DB.

Hope it will help you, let me know.

SQL Server 2005 Installation problems with SQL Server Express & SQL Server 2000
Hi Guys, I have had SQL Server Express and Sql Server Management Studio Express installed on my machine for some time and recently tried to install a trial of SQL Server 2005 as well.  (Yes, I'm migrating from Visual Studio Express to Visual Studio Professional, just as in tended!) Everything went fine except that nothing seemed to be installed.  I searched in all the obvious places - both on the Start/Programs menu and on the hard-drive: nothing. A check under Add/Remove Programs showed that Sql Server 2005 Express was installed, but called SQL Server 2005. So after a number o...

SQL Schema Problem
I was building software on my Vista Machine running SQL Express 2005.  I then wanted to upload my web app to my Windows 2003 Server for hosting (which is also running SQL Express 2005).  I ran 'aspnet_regsql' and created a database on my server with roles, memberships and profiles.  However, when I run my web app on my Windows Server, I get this message: The 'System.Web.Security.SqlRoleProvider' requires a database schema compatible with schema version '1'.  However, the current database schema is not compatible with this version.  You may ne...

SQL time-out problem
Could someone explain to me why the plans for the following query versions are so radically different? Why doesn't the OR query use the clustered index on T2? I have a table T1 that I join to a table T2 3 times (T2a, T2b, T2c) such that I return all T1 rows that have value1 in T2a OR (value2 in T2b AND value3 in T2c). T1 has 991,080 rows; T2 has 1,839,673 rows. There is a (newly built) clustered index on the T2 value column. This query times out. If I use UNION instead of OR I get a response. The plan for the OR query performs: a table scan on T2a (1,839,673 rows) an i...

SQL Schema and Managed Code (SQL-CLR)
I have a SQL Server project in Visual Studio 2005 which deploys an assembly to SQL Server 2005 containing various stored procedures user defined functions.  Is there any way to tell Visual Studio to drop/create the stored procedures in a schema other than dbo?    ie:  User.ChangePassword instead of dbo.ChangePassword.  Well, you could catch more fish! dbo is the default schema of the user. You can specify the schema of stored procedure: CREATE { PROC | PROCEDURE } [schema_name.] procedure_name ....Sincerely,Young Fang When I deploy using Visual Studio, ...

What´s the purpose of "classifieds-categories.sql" "classifieds-add.sql""classifieds-remove.sql"?
Hello all, what´s the purpose of the scripts I enunciated above on the classified starter kit?  "classifieds-categories.sql"  seems to create the initial parent categories, the others 2 names sugest they are used to add and remove ads, but i cant get how. There are 10 types of people in this world:Those who understand binary and those who don't. The classifieds starter kit is ready for upload right out of the box. Any .sql files you find in App_Data are scripts of the database. They are there to make it easy for uploading your site.
