use of commit command?

Do I need to use the commit command in my SQL that I execute via an OracleCommand object? Or is each query automatically committed? Thanks.

If you're not explicitly using an OracleTransaction object, then you do not need to explicitly call commit, I believe.

Yep, he don't need to call commit, since it's a sime command (and not attached transaction).

NET USE command
Hello, Maybe a really stupid question, but I'm really unsure about the following one : I have several Netware 6.5 servers and SLP is correctly setup with DA's and a named scope. I currently use the MAP command on an XP SP2 with Client32 4.91 box to map my drives to the netware volumes but noticed that a command like NET USE \\server1\data\homedir also works. Can I replace the MAP command by NET USE ? I thought NET USE only works with MS servers. Notice, that CIFS is disabled on server1 (CIFSSTOP). This would really speed up my VPN connections (login script pro...
