Flash file (.swf) file updated via xml file but Asp.net doesn't shows the updation.

 Hello, i am embedding flash file (.swf) in asp.net problem occurs when flash file(.swf) updated but its effect doesn't reflect over asp.net page. flash file(.swf) reads  the data from xml file the content of xml file changes dynamically. I have placed both xml file and flash file (.swf) at solution, i think the issue is  i have embed flash file at asp.net i don't thats the good way to implement dynamic flash file; i am embedding flash file (.swf) as follows:

 <OBJECT id="signin" codeBase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,0,0" height="600" width="1500" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" VIEWASTEXT>
                      <PARAM NAME="Src" VALUE="Tree.swf">
                     <EMBED src="Tree.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" WIDTH="1500" HEIGHT="600" NAME="signin" ALIGN=""              TYPE="application/x-shockwave-flash" PLUGINSPAGE="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer">
                        </EMBED>
  </OBJECT>

if u guys have any idea about this please do guide me,  i'll be very thankful to you.

Quick tips for files doesn't show date modified for files on a Novell server
This may not even be the best place to post this question, but I thought it was a good start. We have Win XP computers connecting Novell servers, when you are in explorer or file open and you point at a file, on the hard drive of an XP (ntfs) computer you can see the modified date, if you go to a Novell drive it doesn't show the date, is this a Novell file system limitation or setting? Are you talking about: "Show pop-up description for folder and desktop items" and "Display file size information in folder tips" ? They work for me (XPSP1 NC4.90SP1A). &q...

WDP for VS2008 still doesn't allow web.config file section replacement of 'System.Net'
There were a series of posts on various blogs about the VS 2005 version of the WDP not allowing replacement of the 'System.Net' section. This was a rather significant oversight, in my opinion, as the three parts of web.config you would most likely want to replace would be appSettings for site specific attributes, connectionStrings for the proper database configuration, and System.Net to set up site-generated email. That being said, there was talk in the forums about fixing for the next release. Indeed, in the release notes for WDP for 2008 there was mention of fixes for config file u...

Is it logical to update XML files NOT directly by the file?
Is it logical to update XML files NOT directly by the file? Meaning....are xml files really meant to be updated any other way, than by just taking the file and updating it by hand....and saving the new file? IDE > 'Class View' > 'go to definition' > show .xsd file as .vb file and not .vs file ????
This morning I was using 'Class View' in the IDE to look at the code behind a 'DataSet.xsd' I created. For the most part the 'generated file' (when i right click the object and select 'go to definition') opens as a .cs file (from the ...\'Temporary ASP.NET Files' folder\...).I was investigating a couple of different classes I had created and at some point I noticed, I swear, I had some of these files opened as .vb files (my preference)....but I don't know how that happened...it just occured to me after a while that I was reading vb. So wa...

[VB.NET] update dataset with xml file
hi guys I`m currently working on a client (VB6)/server app. The client modifies data in any table and sends its XML file to the server. On the server, I read the XML file and put it in a DataSet object. I would like to update the database on the server with this XML file, but I dont know how exactly. I think I should read the current table on the server, and compare it with the dataset from the client. I believe I could use this snippet, but I`m not sure. For Each row In table.Rows If row.RowState <> DataRowState.Unchanged Then changedRo...
