DNN 2.1.2 - 3.01.2 Upgrade Issues!

I just upgraded my DNN 2.1.2 portals to DNN 3.0.1.2 and get the following error message just trying to load the home page:

System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Syntax error converting the nvarchar value 'G' to a column of data type int.

Can someone steer me in the direction of what this could be. I'm not real sure where to even start.

I have tried upgrading two times, both of which showed up as successful in the black DNN upgrading window (very promising). However, when I browse to the site, I get the same error!

Syntax error converting the nvarchar value 'G' to a column of data type int.

I looked on this forum for the error and saw these two posts:

1. To technical for me; http://forums.asp.net/650719/ShowPost.aspx

 2. or, Perhaps it is related to http://forums.asp.net/865367/ShowPost.aspx because of the similarity in the letter G. Check it out:

Our error:
Syntax error converting the nvarchar value 'G' to a column of data type int.

This fix:
USE dotnetnuke UPDATE TabModules
SET ContainerSrc = NULL, DisplayTitle = 0
WHERE (ContainerSrc = 'Gift [G]Containers/_default/No Container.ascx')

(the present is a G in brackets)

This could be a long strech, but I tried it and still get the same error.

All modules on my home page are core modules, so I’m not to sure on what the G column is. I have a lot of text/html modules on the home page and other pages. I hate to get so close and then give up! If anyone knows how to fix this, or has some more ideas, that would be great!

Something that may help would be to set your skins to a default skin or none before upgrading.

There might be an issue where the G is trying to be put in the wrong place because of the current skin.

You can also try renaming your skin to see if it'll come up with the default blue skin of DNN.
