Not sure why you want to do this, but you can pretty much stick anything in as a binary/custom resource.

There is a tool called "al.exe". Check out the documentation for more information:

[PATCH lib/Net/Config.pm, MANIFEST, t/lib/Mock/Socket.pm, lib/Net/Config.t] Add Tests for Net::Config
Here's a test suite for Net::Config. In the process of writing this, I've fixed an apparent bug that prevented single values from becoming array references when necessary. I think it's right, but perhaps Graham should weigh in on this. In the process, with some advice from perl-qa, I've added a mock object so the test could control the output of Socket::inet_ntoa() and Socket::inet_aton(). t/lib/Mock/ seemed like as good a place as any. I'm happy to rework this patch if it personally offends anyone whose opinion matters. :) -- c --- lib/Net/~Config.pm S...

Problem with non-.NET dll references after VS.NET install
I am not able to use a dll because the vb project references aren't right. I added COM+ Services Type Library, Microsoft Active Server Pages ObjectContext Object, and changed Microsoft ActiveX Data Objects 2.6 Library to 2.7 Library. I am using a Session object via the AspTypeLibrary.Session call throughout the dll, but when i run my asp (not .net) code, the browser just hangs. Wondering if I needed to change or add sourcecode. Recompile .dll made by vs.net without vs.net ?
How to recompile a code behind dll file without VS.net ? I created a web app using vs.net at home - every thing works great, but came to work and had to make some minor tweaks, but of course we don't have vs.net at work so I was using basic notepad- now of course changes aren't showing up because of the dll is not recompiled - I tried to use the command line compiler that comes with .net 1.1 sdk but no luck , any tips or suggestions? Should the command line compiler work? thanks...

difference between .net Dll and Com+ Dll
Hi, I am just wondering if there is any difference between the two types of Dll?Acutally I am not too sure if .net Dll or com+ Dll are the correct terms. This is my understanding .... Let's say we have a main project that is written using C#.  If a developer writes some codes .. in, let's say, vb6 and then compile it into a Dll so that a .net application can use it. He is creating a com+ Dll. Then if another developer writes another set of codes using vb.net. In order for the main project (in c#) to use it, he needs to compile that code into Dll. In this case he is creating a ....

DLL does not run on .Net 2.0 but runs on .Net 1.1
We have a DLL that was written in .Net 1.1. The DLL was not developed by us and therefore we do not have the source code to modify it. Based on my investigations, the DLL seems to be inheriting from the ‘system.web.ui.pair’ class. Unfortunately, this class is now sealed in .Net 2.0 and it therefore can not be used in inheritance. Does anybody have an idea on how we can make this DLL work in .Net 2.0?  Any walk arounds? Thanks Try to use Reflection to know the stucture of DLL. ThanksGirijeshhttp://www.girijesh.in/...

To .NET or not .NET, that is the question
I'm running WinXP pro 32-bit, meaning I've got the version 1-dot-something of .NET that XP came with. I've been looking for various softwares, and more and more often come across .NET version 2 being prerequisite. No urgency for me re. my questions to this group - so far I have just decided to hit the red X on those download pages - but the desire for this newer version of .NET seems to be growing for me. Firstly, according to my (limited) research, newer .NET versions are inclusive of the previous ones, and the current version seems to be 3.5. So if I go for i...
